Why I Started This Site
After years of working as a licensed real estate agent, I watched the same situations play out over and over — first-time buyers making costly mistakes because nobody explained the process clearly, renters getting taken advantage of because they didn't know their rights, and landlords doing things that were flat-out illegal because tenants didn't know any better.
The information existed, but it was buried in legal jargon, outdated, or so generic it wasn't actually useful. I started Honest Housing Advice to change that.

Everything on this site comes from real experience — not scraped from other websites, not generated without context. When I write about what happens when a landlord refuses to return a security deposit, it's because I've seen that scenario play out with real clients. When I explain the home buying process, it's because I've walked hundreds of buyers through every step of it.
